SWANNDRI/SWANNDRI Type C2 with Type G arches 87mm

This cast iron, SWANNDRI/SWANNDRI Type C2 with Type G arches, 87mm, with two small square indents either end of the word SWANNDRI, is presented here for consideration as an addition to the New Zealand list of openers. Communication with Swanndri New Zealand revealed that this opener was produced in June 2011, meaning it fits into the "Vintage Style" category. To date we have included several other "Vintage Style" openers in the list, e.g., the Monteith's alloy openers. Swanndri is a trade name for a range of popular New Zealand outdoor clothing, and also used informally to refer to their original long heavy bush shirt, as described in this wiki link. Swanndri was registered as a trademark on 23 December 1913 and advertisements start to appear in the National Library of New Zealand's Papers Past  in 1914 (see below).

With the information already on this forum it would be interesting to find out who cast these openers

Swanndri New Zealand suggested that the opener may have been cast in a Chinese foundry.
