Club meeting - March

The Easter club meeting is Sunday the 31 March, STARTING EARLY 6.30 PM. A Mini Sales Night with collectors selling to fellow collectors. MARITIME THEME FOR THE NIGHT BOTTLES AND COLLECTABLES. As Christchurch is blessed with a working port and we have an array of Maritime History at our doorstep along with the aerated water companies using ships / boats on various bottles we thought this a good topic for the nights tables. So, dig deep into the cupboards and bring along a piece of your maritime history to share, it could be a lamp, ships wheel, bell, rope, photo, Antarctic connection, model boat, flag, sail or telescope. There is so much maritime memorabilia. For the bottle collectors, the firms whose bottles used shipping as trade marks, such as Wright, Collier, Fuller & Whittington to name a few. Don’t forget there are some amazing labels and tiles all with that Maritime theme. EASTER RAFFLE $2 per ticket. We will be having an amazing Easter hamper raffle combining a wee bit of chocolate with our veges and fruit. A cuppa and treats will be following the meeting.
