National Show 2014

The 2014 National Antique Bottles and Collectables Show was held in Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre on Sat & Sun, April 19th & 20th, (Easter Weekend). The theme of the 2014 Show was Christchurch Heritage. It is the primary objective of the Christchurch Antique Bottle and Collectables club to preserve, study, display, and share historical data of all kinds. The Underground Overground Archaeology Group in conjunction with the New Zealand Places Trust Pouhere Taonga displayed early Christchurch artefacts that have been retrieved since the earthquakes and we screened a motion picture, courtesy of the New Zealand Film Archive, of CHRISTCHURCH GARDEN CITY OF NEW ZEALAND 1952, showing scenic attractions of Christchurch and its environs.
