Club Meeting - July

The next Club meeting will be on Sunday 26 July at the Philatelic Centre, 67 Mandeville Street, and will start promptly at 7.00 pm. This will again be labeled a Special General Meeting, when further proposed amendments to the Club Rules (as a result of input from Club members) will be tabled. A copy of the proposed rules has been emailed to members. New amendments are in blue type.

The Collectable item of the night is smoking-related, and the Bottle of the Night will be Gins, Schnapps and Bitters. There will also be New Finds; members are asked to bring along a maximum of two items in this category.

Sunday’s meeting will be preceded by the Club Open Day/Book Sale which will commence at 10.00 a.m. at the same venue.

Annual Show: A final reminder re donations for the Show raffle hamper. This month we are collecting confectionery and tinned foods. There are still vacancies on the Show door roster, and there will be a list available at Sundays meeting for volunteers. A reminder that there will be no Club meeting in August as that is the weekend of the Show.
