MARVEL Type G cast iron opener, thought to be made in NZ, almost certainly a free give away to promote something, but what? The Type G patent was accepted on May 28th 1937, which provides us with a fixed time from which to start searching. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Cadbury's Marvel trademark was registered 23 Jan 1968, could this be connected? Nothing could be found about the use of this trademark in NZ, it seems to be a UK thing, see here. Can anyone remember it in NZ?

MARVEL FRUIT EXTRACT
Perhaps this could be what the Marvel opener was advertising, especially considering it comes in a crown sealed bottle. But, this product does not appear to have been widely advertised or for long, perhaps it was not successful? Can anyone provide any further information on Marvel Fruit Extract? Seems to have been produced by McKenzies.

McKenzies also advertise another Marvel product, chocolate..
