Club meeting - October

The next Club meeting will be at the Philatelic Centre, 67 Mandeville Street, this Sunday 29 October, commencing promptly at 7.00 p.m. The collectable theme of the night is Trinket Boxes and the bottle theme of the night is West Coast Bottles. Also new finds. Sales tables available at no charge. Door charge is $3 per person and there will be a $1 raffle. Contributions to forthcoming Club magazines are always eagerly sought. Annual Show Update

Christchurch Antique Bottle & Collectables Annual Show, Saturday & Sunday August 26 & 27 2017, at the Table Tennis Centre in Blenheim Road, opposite The Warehouse (see flyer below). Thanks to those who have already sent in entries for the Show - it makes it easier to pay for advertising etc if we have some money to spend. Please note that entries close on 14th August. Although most displays in this year's show will be judged you are still welcome to enter a non-competitive display if you wish. RAFFLE DONATIONS  are required for our August Annual Show please.

Club meeting - July

The next Club meeting will be at the Philatelic Centre, 67 Mandeville Street, this Sunday 30 July, commencing promptly at 7.00 p.m. The collectable theme of the night is Maori and the bottle theme of the night is Quill Morris. Also new finds. Sales tables available at no charge. Door charge is $3 per person and there will be a $1 raffle. The next Club meeting will be at the Philatelic Centre, 67 Mandeville Street, this Sunday 25 June, commencing promptly at 7.00 p.m. The collectable and the bottle theme of the night will be Royalty. Also new finds. Sales tables available at no charge. Door charge is $3 per person and there will be a $1 raffle. Club member and postcard collector. Jeff Long will be doing a presentation on Richard (King Dick) John Seddon who was the longest serving Prime Minister of New Zealand. Bring along any relevant items relating to the subject. RAFFLE DONATIONS required for our August Annual Show.

Annual luncheon

Club activity: The Club's annual luncheon will be on Saturday 17 June 2017 starting midday at Rossburn Receptions (Richard and Dawn Spark), Rangiora. Cost is $30 per person for the 3 course meal and also includes free entrance to the museum. Payment with booking must be made to Lindsey before 11 June. Friends and relatives of Club members will be most welcome.

There is no collectable theme or bottle of the night. There will be New Finds only of collectables and bottles. Sales tables available at no charge. Sales tables available at no charge. Door charge is $3 per person, and there will be a $1 raffle. The February Club magazine will be handed out at the meeting and once again we encourage members to attend and also to collect and pass on the magazines for friends. This can save the Club on postage costs.
